What (literally and figuratively) moves me? I truly think that one of my main research interests is knowing and learning as much as I can that the world has to offer and then sharing that information to others through dance and media; whether its a live performance, a blog post, or a film. I'm very interested in music (shoutout to classic rock) and incorporating what some may believe to be unusual choices of music into my choreography. Today, I feel there is this heavy pressure on young dancers/aspiring choreographers to "be an artist" and this idea has indirectly made certain music choices seem not professional in the dance industry; which is why one of my research interests is the relationship between music and dance. I aspire to one day work in the entertainment industry with hopes of experiencing both sides of the field  as a performer/choreographer and also on the business side.  Another aspiration of mine is to travel as much as I can and if I can incorporate traveling while doing what I love and working, that would be the dream.
